The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted thunderstorms and rain in various parts of the country over the next three days. Additionally, moderate to dense fog may form late at night and in the early morning, particularly in the southern regions.
According to the weather forecast valid until Tuesday (February 18) at 6 PM, there is a possibility of rain or thunderstorms in districts such as Jashore, Kushtia, and Cumilla, as well as in a few places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. Meanwhile, other areas are expected to experience partly cloudy skies with mostly dry weather.
Moderate to dense fog may develop from late at night to early morning in southern parts of the country, while light to moderate fog is expected elsewhere. Both nighttime and daytime temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
For Wednesday (February 19) until 6 PM, the forecast indicates that some areas in the Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions may experience rain or thunderstorms. Other regions will mostly see partly cloudy skies with dry weather. Nighttime temperatures may slightly increase, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain stable.
By Thursday (February 19) at 6 PM, rainfall or thunderstorms could occur in some areas of the Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. The rest of the country will likely experience partly cloudy skies and predominantly dry conditions. Additionally, light to moderate fog is expected in many areas from late at night to early morning. Nighttime temperatures may rise slightly, while daytime temperatures will remain mostly unchanged.
The extended five-day weather forecast suggests no significant changes in weather conditions.
