Hasan Saimum Wahab has recently been awarded a PhD degree from the prestigious Putra Business School of University Putra Malaysia (UPM).
His doctoral research, titled “Influence of Soft Skills, Technological Skills, Subjective Knowledge, University Reputation, and Emotional Intelligence on Graduate Employability in Bangladesh,” offers fresh insights into the critical factors shaping the employability of university graduates.
Saimum Wahab currently serves as Assistant Director, Graduate Studies, Research, and Industrial Relations (GSRIR) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). He also plays a leadership role as one of the advisers of the Private University Public Relations Officers Association (PUPROA).
Through his research, Saimum Wahab highlights how both academic institutions and industries can better prepare graduates for the evolving job market by focusing not only on technical expertise but also on emotional intelligence, reputation, and soft skills.
His findings are expected to make a significant contribution to educational policy and employment strategies in Bangladesh.
