Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus is set to depart for Switzerland on a four-day visit to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. He will leave on Monday night (January 20), according to a briefing by Abul Kalam Azad Mazumdar, Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor, held at the Foreign Service Academy on Sunday evening (January 19).
Key Highlights of the Visit
- Bangladesh Dialogue:
For the first time, the WEF will feature a special dialogue session on Bangladesh. The session aims to highlight the country’s economic potential and invite global companies to invest. - Bilateral Meetings:
On the sidelines of the forum, the Chief Advisor will hold several bilateral meetings with global leaders and business representatives. - Investment Opportunities:
The government is committed to creating a conducive environment for foreign investments and ensuring that Bangladesh becomes a favorable destination for global investors.
