Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen stated that the anti-quota movement is an internal matter of Bangladesh.
He mentioned that the Awami League government has sufficient wisdom to resolve this issue. He expressed hope that the problem will be resolved soon.
The Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen made these remarks during a meeting with Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday morning, July 18. Various bilateral issues were discussed during the meeting.
After the meeting, Ambassador Yao Wen spoke to the media about various matters. He highlighted that instability in the country hinders investment.
