BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced that the BNP has extended full support to the nationwide ‘Complete Shutdown’ program called by students demanding quota reforms.
He made this statement during a virtual press conference on Thursday morning, July 18. He mentioned that the decision was made at a meeting of the BNP’s National Standing Committee.
He also urged the general public to actively participate in the program.
Notably, the protesters demanding quota reforms have declared a nationwide ‘Complete Shutdown’ program. They have warned that during this program, everything except hospitals and emergency services will be shut down.
