The upcoming Eid-ul-Azha will see the release of several films including Toofan, Mayurakshi, Dark World, and Revenge. Adding to this list is another movie starring actress Puja Cherry titled ‘Agantuk’.
Despite the release of a dozen films during Eid-ul-Fitr, a total of five movies are set to release this Eid. The news was confirmed to Channel I Online by the film’s distributor Zahid Hasan Avi. He said, “We initially planned to release it on Valentine’s Day this year but postponed it knowing another film would be released. We intended to release another film, Junglee, this Eid but couldn’t complete it on time, so we’re releasing the ready film Agantuk.”
On Monday, Agantuk received an uncut censor certificate, ensuring no obstacles to its release, stated producer and distributor Zahid Hasan Avi. He added that discussions have already taken place with Cineplex Multiplex, and they have agreed to screen ‘Agantuk’.
Directed by Suman Dhar, the film features Puja Cherry alongside Shyamal Mawla, Mili Bashar, Shikha Khan Mou, Hillol Roy, and Anwar Shaheen. The shooting wrapped up two years ago, but the release was delayed due to incomplete post-production.
