The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published, revealing a pass rate of 83.04 percent this year. The results were formally handed over to the Prime Minister by the Education Minister at Ganabhaban on Sunday, May 12th at 10 AM.
It has been reported that the Dhaka Education Board achieved a pass rate of 89.9 percent, while the Comilla Board saw a lower pass rate of 79.23 percent. Notably, 12,100 students across the boards secured a GPA-5. The Jessore Board topped with a 92.32 percent pass rate, while the Chittagong Board recorded a pass rate of 82.80 percent. Other boards like Barisal and Rajshahi achieved pass rates of 89.13 percent and 89.26 percent, respectively, with Rajshahi’s GPA-5 recipients totaling 28,074 students.
Chairpersons from nine general boards, along with one madrasa and one technical board, presented their statistics to the Prime Minister.
On the same day, at around 11 AM, results were simultaneously released online and at respective educational institutions. Students were able to check their results via SMS soon after the official announcement. Results are also accessible through the website at http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd
