At least 20 people have been injured in clashes between anti-discrimination student protesters and Awami League activists in Sirajganj. This incident occurred on Sunday (4 August).
The anti-discrimination student movement started a non-cooperation movement across the country today, following their previously announced program demanding the government’s resignation.
The leaders of the movement announced this program on Saturday at the foot of the Central Shaheed Minar in the capital, declaring that the government and its cabinet must resign for their involvement in student murders.
