A second teacher died from injuries sustained in the recent plane crash at Milestone School and College in the capital.
Mahfuza Khanam, 45, who had suffered burns over 26 percent of her body, passed away at 1:30pm on Thursday while undergoing treatment in the ICU of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Doctors said her condition was complicated by long-standing uncontrolled diabetes and high blood pressure, which made recovery difficult.
Mahfuza had been in critical condition since the accident and was under intensive care until her death.
