Rahima Begum (85), the mother of ‘Mirakkel’ famed actor Jamil Hossain, has passed away. She breathed her last on Sunday night (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un).
Announcing his mother’s death, Jamil posted on Facebook, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. May Allah grant my mother Jannah… Ameen.”
It is known that Rahima Begum died at her home in Begumganj, Noakhali, around 9:15 pm on Sunday, May 19. She passed away due to old age.
Jamil Hossain gained widespread recognition through the popular Indian reality show ‘Mirakkel Akkel Challengers on Zee Bangla. Since then, he has been regularly acting, especially becoming popular in recent Bengali dramas.
Colleagues and fellow actors in the showbiz industry are expressing their condolences for the actor’s loss.
