In a major development, the Election Commission (EC) has approved the action plan or roadmap for the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election.
Following the approval, the commission said the roadmap could be officially announced at any time.
The approval came during a meeting held on Wednesday afternoon at the EC headquarters in Agargaon in the capitak.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) M M Nasir Uddin, four election commissioners, and the EC secretary attended the meeting.
“Everything in the action plan has been finalised. The approval has been given; now only the typing work is going on,” said Election Commissioner Anwarul Islam Sarkar.
